Belle Isle Women’s Committee Mission

The Belle Isle Women’s Committee, formed in December of 2004, is dedicated to the restoration and preservation of Detroit’s natural Jewel – Belle Isle.

Supplementing the work of the City of Detroit and volunteer organizations such as Friends of Belle Isle and Belle Isle Botanical Society, we have created a women’s network that will provide additional support to polish the jewel that is Belle Isle Park.
